A large collection of the furniture and other decorative arts displayed at the Louvre museum in Paris is available to be viewed at http://cartelfr.louvre.fr/ although the site text is all in French.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York presented a special exhibition entitled "Fashion and Furniture in the 18th Century" which features a couple of pictures of sumptous French interiors of the eighteenth century.

Additionally, you can view prints of old French designs, courtesy of the Smithsonian Institution, at Le Garde-meuble.
