Girandoles

¶ This kind of ornament admits of great variety in pattern and in elegance: they are usually executed of the best carved work gilt and burnished in parts. They may be carved, and coloured suitable to the room. The liar in the design, Plate 113, is intended to be of cut glass, either white or coloured.
