Indoor Wall Lights
Decorating and furnishing your home with indoor wall lights and sconces.
Sconces or wall lights evolved from candelabra, and they provide a broad range of graceful models, possessing both character and dignity. With one, two, three or four arms, in carved and gilded or painted wood, metal or crystal, they can introduce interest and a certain touch of distinction by their presence on a wall.
Those fashioned in eighteenth century styles are suitable for nearly any type of room except very early rooms whose decoration has Tudor influence; and their electric candles can have silk shields or shades in tones of colour that will harmonise with the decoration of the room. The early types of sconces are mere candle-holders of the plainest design in iron, but they look well on distempered walls in a room furnished with oak.
