At the Philadelphia Museum of Art an exhibition of the work of Gaetano Pesce and his innovative designs for resin furniture featuring about 20 models.
In 1959, Gaetano Pesce was one of the pioneers of the Padua of Group N, a group of artists and designers specialising in programmed, or “Op,” art. Pesce was first noticed at the international furniture exhibition in Milan in 1969 when he introduced the UP series, although his work had been earlier included in shows in Finland and Italy.
