Just Jack is a personal blog where the author, who appears to be Canadian, or at least someone with strong Canadian tendencies, details her diy home upholstering projects.
These involve the buying of old furniture, it seems mainly sofas, and upholstered chairs, seats, and armchairs, and their cushions, and proceding to carry out re-upholstering of said items. The gory details, ripping out of staples, measuring fabric, putting in tacks and cardboard binding, replacing cushion foam, are related, along with asides about the authors life in general.
The results of the upholstering of the old furniture are indescribably hideous, see for yourself (link is dead), however the upholstering process is told with some humour and style and the writer is obviously quite taken with the things which is the main thing.
