The Sauder Village in Ohio.

Sauder Village founded by Erie Sauder the founder of the Sauder furniture company was an attempt by Sauder to preserve for posterity the ways of working of the early settlers in northwest Ohio.

Erie set about collecting whole houses, as well as old tools and equipment used by traditional artisans, to build the Historic Sauder Village, now open from April to October.

Of especial interest for visitors is the woodworks area where 2 woodworkers make wooden toys and much of the cabinet work to be found at the village.
