The wonderful Design Toscano furniture and decor catalog.
When I first found Design Toscano , which describes itself as “Historical & Antique Replicas for the Home & Garden”, I just about went weak at the knees. This place is dripping with the sort of furniture and home decor, mainly English, Italian, and French antique models, of which I have spent much time studying and writing about and didn’t really believe that such items were even available to be purchased in reproduction form.

But they are, and plenty of them, at actually fairly reasonable prices given the amount of handcraftsmanship and attention to detail that has obviously gone into them - such things ordinarily don’t come cheap these days.
Hard to know where to start with their catalog of antique furniture replicas or which models to pick out so I think I will gradually introduce some of them to the design section of this blog, one at a time. In the meantime, get thyself over to Design Toscano.
